What is the quality of new containers?

Our new containers are made to the highest standards. They come directly from the factory in China, and therefore they are always shipped once with cargo.

 

What is the quality of used shipping containers?

We have divided our used shipping containers into the following categories:

Ex-rent
A-quality
B-quality
C-quality
D-quality

Is a used sea container suitable for sea transport?

Per container it is indicated on our website whether it is CSC certified. If this is the case, containers are accepted by shipping companies for sea transport.

What if my desired color is not listed?

In some cases, other colours of sea containers are available than indicated. Please contact us.

Can I rent a sea container for a short period?

The minimum rental period is 10 weeks. The sea container can be rented for a shorter period, but must then be paid for at least 10 weeks.

Is it possible to have the sea container delivered?

Yes, that is possible. You can indicate this preference during the ordering process. We unload and place the container with a truck equipped with a crane. The crane has a range of 10 meters from the center of the truck to the center of the container. The sea container is placed horizontally next to the truck.

Where can my sea container be delivered?

We deliver sea containers throughout Europe and globally.

What is needed for a good delivery?

A paved access road of at least 5.5 metres wide. If the access road contains sharp bends, extra space is required. Consult our customer service for this. Make sure that the surface where the container will be placed is level. Otherwise, the doors of the container may have difficulty opening or closing. If in doubt, please contact us.

Do I need to install a foundation for the container?

A container rests only on its four corners. We recommend providing these corners with a solid foundation. This is to ensure that the container remains level for a longer period of time when loaded.

Is it possible to collect my sea container myself?

It is possible to pick up your sea container by appointment. You can indicate this during the ordering process. The container can be picked up at your depot, depending on where the container is located.

What is the delivery time?

During the ordering process you can choose between a day delivery or a week delivery. Depending on your choice, the fastest delivery time is within 4 days. It is also possible to schedule a delivery for a later date.

Can I determine the delivery time myself?

This is possible when you choose a day delivery. There are additional costs involved. If you choose an eco-friendly weekly delivery, the costs are lower. You will then be notified one day in advance when the container will be delivered.

 

How can I pay for my sea container?

It is possible to pay for your container safely and quickly via Bank Transfer. Payment via Cryptocurrency is also possible where you enjoy a 30% discount on the actual price.

Will I receive an invoice?

After purchasing a sea container, you will receive a digital invoice the next working day.

Is a sea container CSC certified as standard?

Per container it is indicated on our website whether it is CSC certified. If this is the case, containers are accepted by shipping companies for sea transport.

Where can I find my CSC certificate?

A CSC plate is present on the container door. A paper certificate can also be sent on request.

What are the costs of a CSC certificate?

When purchasing an approved sea container, the CSC certificate is free.

How long is the certificate valid?

The CSC certificate is valid for at least 12 months.
